Dr. George Iatrakis is currently a Professor Εm. (Obstetrics and Gynecology) at the Department of Midwifery, the University of West Attica. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Athens in 1983. He is on the Executive Committee of the Greek Society of Gynecologic Endocrinology. He served as a Scientific Counsellor of MANOSMED (Mobile University). He is the writer of >60 medical books.

Dr. Mahmoud M. Elsayed, MD, is a Stroke Research Fellow in the Stroke Recovery Research Center at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He earned his medical degree from Mansoura University and completed residency training in Egypt before pursuing advanced academic research in the United States. His research focuses on spine surgery, cerebrovascular and stroke neurosurgery, and neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on translational and outcomes-based research aimed at improving patient care. Dr. Elsayed has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in neurosurgery and clinical research and has contributed to several international collaborative studies with leading academic institutions worldwide. He is the founder of the MME Research Lab, a global mentorship initiative dedicated to training medical students and early-career researchers in scientific research and academic development. In addition to his research activities, he serves as a peer reviewer and editorial contributor for several scientific journals. His work has been recognized at multiple international conferences across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Dr. Elsayed’s long-term goal is to advance the field of academic neurosurgery as a neurosurgeon-scientist while fostering international collaboration and mentoring the next generation of physician-researchers.
