Aims & Scope

The journal aims to:

  • Promote high-impact research in digestive and hepatic sciences including innovative therapies, diagnostics, and real-world outcomes.
  • Foster intelligence-driven clinical and system innovation: for example AI, machine learning, digital imaging, endoscopy robotics, and biomarker analytics.
  • Bridge the gap between frontline clinical practice and policy, education, and health-services delivery in GI/hepato care.
  • Advance evidence-based medicine across gastroenterology/hepatology domains—such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease & transplantation, GI oncology, microbiome-host interaction, functional GI disorders, endoscopic intervention, metabolic/gut-liver axis.
  • Encourage collaboration between clinicians, bioengineers, data scientists, public-health experts and educators in the digestive health arena.
