Children’s Health Horizons: Journal of Pediatric Medicine & Care is a peer-reviewed, gold-open-access journal dedicated to accelerating evidence-based breakthroughs that improve health outcomes from the first day of life through adolescence. The journal was conceived to address two widely documented gaps:
- Innovation lag – many therapeutic devices reach children 5–10 years after adult approval, leaving clinicians to adapt adult technologies off-label.
- Translation bottlenecks – promising AI, digital-health and precision-medicine advances often stall before reaching frontline paediatric settings.
By bringing clinicians, biomedical engineers, data scientists and policy experts into a single forum, our journal aims to shorten the bench-to-bedside cycle and make cutting-edge care accessible to every child.
